Off the Beaten Path- Equestrian Lot Loop

The equestrian parking lot offers access to trails in the southwest portion of the forest. It is located just north of Barrett Pond and the Barrett Pond campground. Our hike will start at 9:00.

You can join the group at 8:00 for a pre-walk breakfast or just a cup of coffee at the Panera Bread in "The Grove" shopping center along Long Pond Road near Exit 5 off Route 3. There are usually a half dozen people who come and will be happy to let you follow them into the forest.

Our walks average two hours. Please bring plenty of water and wear good hiking shoes.

We will go out in anything but the foulest weather.
