Snowshoe from the Bentley Loop parking lot

Snowshoe from the Bentley Loop trail parking lot off Upper College. The lot was already plowed out yesterday. The snow is lovely and deep. The weather looks promising.

We snowshoed about one third of the East Head Reservoir yesterday. The snow was great but it was hard work breaking new trail. I think that it is too high to just hike very far. You would sink all the way in after each step. I think many dogs would have a hard time too.(And some with normally boundless energy might get tired.)

Bring water and snacks.
