DCR’s Annual Park Serve Day is coming Saturday May 2nd to Myles Standish State Forest. Join us for a morning of work followed by a cookout sponsored by the Friends.

In the past few years, the Friends have planted flowers around headquarters, worked on a pollinator garden, raked up around headquarters, spread mulch and so on.

At the conclusion, the Friends will provide a free hamburger and hot dog cookout for all participants. (We will also provide a vegetarian option if you tell us in advance and let us know what would be good. ) We look forward to holding our cookout in the new pavilion built in 2024 behind headquarters,

Please plan to come out and join in on May 2nd. Meet us at the park headquarters on Cranberry Road in Carver at 8:45am.
