Plymouth Airport Bird Walk
Details
Once a year the club is granted access to the Plymouth airfield inside the perimeter fence from the airport manager. This access usually increases our chances of observing grassland bird species, most notably Upland Sandpiper.
Our birding expert is again offering this event for the Friends and for a number of birding clubs he belongs to.
Sorry, no dogs please. Sunscreen and bug spray may be advisable. We will be walking through some high grass, so tick protection is recommended. Bring water and snacks. Bring binoculars if you have them.
