Bettencourt Road to Pinnacle Bogs

Join us for a hike across the northern end of Myles Standish SF. We will start at the end of Bettencourt Road, which is off Federal Furnace Road, about 5 miles north of Cranberry Road. (The road is outside the park. Use the Google map link.) Bettencourt Road is just north of the Ellis Haven campground. Park at the end of the road, which is about a half mile in. The state forest markers are visible.

Our hike will take us to the Pinnacle Bogs, which the Plymouth town meeting acquired several years ago. The town has planted thousands of plants and the property has been officially opened since we last visited in July.

This hike is about 4 miles. It took us around two hours last time. Bring water and snacks.
