Kick Off Fall Stewardship at Superior Street Prairie!

Cal City’s superior Street Prairie is a rare and irreplaceable ecological treasure. Too much shade, invasive species, and lack of care threaten. It needs Friends to stay healthy!

• All are invited to help kick off the fall season at superior Street.
• Expect to collect rare seeds and/or cut & burn brush to restore this natural gem.
• Share a snack, enjoy the mental and physical benefits of the outdoors, and make a difference for people and nature alike.

No experience necessary! Anyone can be a steward – many people with energy to plan, lead, and organize are needed. Wear “wilderness” clothes – long pants and sturdy footwear recommended: nothing too precious!

Meet at 999 Michigan City Rd. at 1 PM overflow parking on Campbell Avenue.
