The Comfort of Crows; A Backyard Year, by Margaret Renkl

Details

Book choice: nonfiction narrative style writing. It reads like a well written journal. I chose it because it seemed beautiful. It covers topics of change, grief, climate concerns, and I love the attention to nature. I hope it’s a good book for spring!

Venue vibe: The hookah bar has food. Lots of seating, tables and comfy chairs. Clean and accessible bathrooms. It should be easy to get to by bus, and it’s quiet there during the day. It doesn’t get louder until the evening.
