Frisco Bunco/Mahjong Meetup Group

Have you been wanting to learn Mahjong, or looking for a group to play with every week? Pull up a chair!
Whether you’re a seasoned player or have never touched a tile, you’re welcome here. Come sharpen your skills, learn something new, and meet some fun people along the way.
What to expect

• Friendly tables for all experience levels
• Help for beginners: we’ll walk you through the basics and get you playing your first hand
• Open play for experienced players who want a regular game
• A relaxed, social atmosphere with comfortable seating
• Friendly staff on hand if you need anything

Details

• Style of play: American Mahjong has been the most popular, but we can teach Japanese as well.
• Sets and cards: We currently have one set and an old card for teaching. As the group grows we are willing to invest in more.
• Cost: $12. No membership required.
• Age: 13+
• Location: Texas Tabletop Society, 8050 Preston Rd #204, Frisco, TX 75034, USA

Good to know
Mahjong is played at tables of four, so please RSVP and update it if your plans change. That helps us set up the right number of tables and keeps a seat open for someone on the waitlist.
Bring a friend, or come on your own and find a table. Hope to see you there!

Looking for a fun, easygoing night out? Come roll the dice with us!
Bunco is a fast, social dice game that takes about two minutes to learn and is hard to stop playing. There’s no strategy to memorize, just a lot of rolling, rotating tables, cheering, and laughing. Whether you’ve played at a neighborhood Bunco night for years or have never heard of it, you’ll fit right in.
What to expect

• A quick rules walkthrough at the start, so no experience is needed
• Rotating tables, so you’ll meet lots of new people through the night
• A lively, friendly crowd and plenty of laughs
• Comfortable seating and friendly staff on hand
• [Prizes for most Buncos, most wins, and the dreaded “booby” prize, if you offer them]
