All of us have experienced loss in our lives, whether it be the death of a loved one (human or otherwise), relationship, divorce, health, independence, job and more. Grief is a natural and inevitable part of the human journey. But we do have choice in how we respond to it. Although not at all easy, we can choose to embrace it.

This Zoom event focuses on embracing the journey of grief in its many aspects - from sadness, pain, and despair to gratitude, personal growth, deepening in love, and finding greater life meaning and fulfillment. Embracing grief mean totally being exactly where we are, in all the messiness, madness, and magic. Grief has many gifts, which often reveal themselves over time. And while each person's experience of grief is unique, we are not alone. The grief journey is one we can take in companionship with others. We can share our stories and listen compassionately to others. And little by little, we are invited to find our way toward living life with greater wholeness, peace, and love.

This Zoom event will be interactive and experiential. We will explore all these aspects of grief through guided visualization, reflection, journaling, small group breakouts, and large group discussion.

This 2 hour Zoom time together is both a stand-alone event, and an intro to both a 6 session series to explore all the above topics more fully, and to an ongoing grief support group, because the journey is really ongoing. The aim for these longer term support activities (maximum 10-12 participants) to be in-person, as much as possible. And there will also be opportunities for get-togethers to hang out and build relationships. More details soon.
