🏞️ We’ll explore the stunning Mt. Tsukuba area — a sacred, historical mountain that locals revere, yet virtually no foreign tourists know about.
Walk forest trails, visit hidden shrines, and take in panoramic views that feel like a scene from a Studio Ghibli film — all without the crowds.
✨ Short Nature Trip to Mt. Tsukuba
🚆 Direct train from Akihabara(Tsukuba express Akihabara station!!! not JR!!!!) to Tsukuba Station by Tsukuba express train(rapid 45min)
We’ll meet at 10:00am at the ticket gate of Tsukuba Station. "I'll be waiting with a pink paper that says 'Meetup'."From there, we take a 35-minute bus ride to Tsukubasan Shrine.
⛩️ Explore a quiet shrine
We’ll walk around the peaceful Tsukubasan Shrine, full of history and nature.
☆ carblecar to the summit (if in operation)
If it's running, we’ll take the cable car to the top of Mt. Tsukuba and go to the 2 summits.
If not, we’ll enjoy a tranquil forest walk at the base of the mountain—quiet trails surrounded by trees,birdsong and stream.
☆We take the bus to Tsukuba station area from Mount Tsukuba area around 14:10.
🕒 Total time: about 5 hours (from start at 10am at Tsukuba station to finish around 15:00 at Tsukuba bus terminal)
This is a short, relaxing nature trip, perfect for a quiet day away from the city.

Transportation (train:round trip fee from Akihabara to Tsukuba :¥2,420) & (bus from Tsukuba bus terminal to Tsukubazan shirine :round trip fee ¥1,540) and cable car fee(round trip fee¥1,070) are not included.
