🤝 Scalable app development with Scala - Front-end and back-end in harmony

This presentation will describe an approach using Scala and Scala.js to develop both front-end and back-end software, using a modern approach for developing a back-end service-layer while also supporting transpilation to front-end.

It will explore front-end and back-end concepts such as automated serialisation, functionally-typed database integration and large codebase scalability. Further to this, the particular relationship between front-end and back-end software will be explored.

An example is provided in the South Australia healthcare setting, showing how this approach can empower development for critical care services.
