Whether you’re a student, engineering manager, career-swapper, or experienced tech lead, come and find out how the Sheffield Digital Mentoring Scheme can support you. Sarah will highlight its benefits and success stories, explain how to make the most of the experience, feature some of the mentors available, show you how to get involved, and take sign-ups on the night.

Paul Solecki - The Rewarding Experience of Being a Mentor

Paul will share why he joined the Sheffield Digital Mentoring Scheme and what makes it worthwhile for him and the mentees he works with. He will tell you about some of the ways that he supports and guides his mentees, including gaining confidence for interviews. He will also give an overview of some of the challenges within the industry and how to use relevant tools to help with your personal development, making sure it’s useful for your role.

Post-meetup social
After the talks we'll head to socialise at the nearby Triple Point Brewery + Bar. They serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, plus food from Twisted Burger Co. See https://triplepointbrewing.co.uk/ for more details. One of our volunteers will show you the way.
