Little Scraggy Trail loop — Pike National Forest

Details
Little Scraggy Peak Loop is a longer hike (12.1 miles) with moderate elevation gain (1225 ft according to Komoot or 1601 ft according to Alltrails - let's go see which one is correct). Hiking time will be about about 5.5 hours. Here is the Alltrails description:
This is an outstanding trail in Pike National Forest. The trail combines dirt and rocky paths and features some challenging inclines. It meanders through woodlands and meadows, offering a blend of shaded and open sections. The views along the Little Scraggly Peak Loop are magnificent, with vistas of Pikes Peak and the surrounding wilderness. Parking and bathrooms are available at the trailhead.
What to Bring: water, snacks, sunscreen, raincoat, sturdy shoes, hat, sunglasses, downloaded trail map, and whatever else you need to be comfortable.
Group size is limited to 14 people.
Dogs: Well behaved dogs are welcome on leash.
Weather: I'll post weather updates a few days before the hike.
Carpooling: We will gather at The Fort Restaurant in Morrison for carpooling at 6:35 am and will leave by 6:40 am. This will put us at the trailhead at 7:25 am for our 7:30 start.
I still have never been to The Bucksnort Saloon. I'd like to give it a try after the hike.
I'd like to make these mid-week hikes are regular event. See you there!
