Crested Butte Mtn Biking Week

Crested Butte is a true mountain biking Mecca. We'll ride many of the CB classics on this trip. Trail 401, Doctor Park, Dyke trail, Upper Upper and a day in the EVO bike park on CB mountain. Many of these rides will be level 4 and level 5, due to altitude and technical features. The 401 trail peaks at 12,000' elevation and descends through beautiful wildflowers back into Gothic.

I plan to camp away from town, probably in the Oh Be Joyful campground. We'll be going after the wildflower festival and before OuterBike so we should have less crowds on the trails. Feel free to camp, stay in an RV, or book a hotel room.

Make sure to check Meetup for weather, location or other factors. Along with your good attitude, bring water, spare tube, tools, etc. and a bike in working condition. This is a no drop ride, the group will stay together, barring exceptions. If you sign up, but cannot attend, PLEASE make sure to change your RSVP prior to the event so others can participate and we aren't waiting for you. I also understand that the FRMB organizer, assistant organizers and organizer of this event are volunteers and NOT professional guides, their role is to coordinate the gathering of people at the appointed meeting place for the group to voluntarily take part in the organized Event.
