Kenosha Pass to Breck

Please don’t sign up unless you’re sure you will be able to show up, there are many day of drop outs and no shows which spoils it for people that want to attend but are concerned about the size of the group. No shows are marked and may be bumped off future rides.

Kenosha Pass to Breckenridge, Segment 6 of the Colorado Trail, 33 miles, 4,915 feet of climbing, shuttle back to the start. There's a ride around to avoid the second climb and save 1,500 feet, half the group did that last year, 3,415 feet of climbing. $25 for the shuttle, payable upon signing up, non refundable.

The ride starts at the top of Kenosha Pass, 10,000 feet, two mountain passes on the trail, 11,880 feet and 11,150 feet. It can be windy at the top so please bring layers.

We will start riding promptly at the posted start time from the parking lot.

Please check Meetup prior to the ride in case anything changes due to weather, location or other factors. If you want to attend please sign up, people's plans change and you will get in.

Along with your good attitude, bring water, spare tube, tools, etc. and a bike in working condition. This is a no drop ride, the group will stay together, barring exceptions.

I also understand that the FRMB organizer, assistant organizers and organizer of this event are volunteers and NOT professional guides, their role is to coordinate the gathering of people at the appointed meeting place for the group to voluntarily take part in the event.
