Green(er) Web Development, Mario Hamann

Although it took a long time, WCAG is finally the required standard for many websites and web apps. However, given the environmental impact of technology, we should also start looking into the W3C's upcoming “Web Sustainability Guidelines” as soon as possible.

This is why Mario Hamann will take us on a deep dive into Green(er) Coding! He will show us concrete examples of how more sustainable approaches can be followed in the various phases and parts of web development to lead to better overall products. He will share insights from his own projects and tools for measuring impact, as well as inspirational examples from across the wild wild web.
