How the your decision when designing and implementing and app can affect the whole psychology of your user and how to avoid bad patterns

Matheus Rocha is a Senior Software Engineer based in Porto, Portugal, with experience building web platforms for startups and global tech companies including OLX Group, XING, Urbint, Atlantic Bridge, and Liminal.co. Passionate about creating technology that improves people’s lives, he specializes in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and cloud-native applications, always focusing on building practical products that simplify people’s lives. In his free time, he plays guitar and enjoys good wine.

Building a library for a Design System with Web Components, and some lessons learned along the way.

Gabriel currently works as a Frontend Developer on the Körber Design System team. Earlier in his journey, he received a scholarship from the Brazilian government to study at Beihang University in China, one of Asia’s top engineering institutions.
His entrepreneurial drive also led him to co-found NONG, a drone mapping SaaS startup. As the technical founder, he helped take the company from zero to serving clients worldwide—an experience that was both demanding and incredibly rewarding.
Throughout his career, Gabriel has worked with a broad range of technologies, including Progressive Web Apps, React Native, Capacitor, Ionic, and his personal favorite, Web Components.
