Online: Intro to Charts in ReactJS (Recharts)

This is going to be our first online workshop. Please download Zoom app to your computer beforehand and we will provide you with a link to the virtual meeting.

Recharts is a highly popular open source data visualisation library. It is built in React on top of D3. The library is created by Alibaba devs and scores 13k+ stars on Github.

Data visualisation is in demand in most companies and every developer ends up building charts once in a while.

This is a hands-on session where we will explain and live-code bar, area, line and doughnut charts in React and JavaScript. We will also help you complete several tasks where you visualise sample data. Everything will be built using a free online IDE (stackblitz.com).

Prerequisites:

• Developers who have basic knowledge of any mainstream programming language - JavaScript, Java, C#, Ruby, Python etc.

Requirements:

• Zoom app
• Laptop
• Latest version of any browser (Google Chrome is highly recommended)
