About us
Welcome to the Frozen Blades Community Skating Circle. We're a group of ice skaters who get together regularly to skate, share tips, and help each other improve. Whether you're just starting out or have been skating for years, there's a place for you here. We believe skating is more fun when you're doing it with other people, and we love that moment when someone finally nails a move they've been working on.
Our meetups are pretty casual. We hit the ice, warm up together, and then folks work on whatever they want to focus on that day. If you're new and need help with balance or basic technique, we've got experienced skaters who are happy to give pointers. If you're working on something specific like crossovers or backwards skating, there's usually someone around who can offer advice or just skate alongside you for moral support. We also spend time just enjoying being on the ice together, which honestly might be the best part.
We meet at various rinks around the area depending on schedules and availability. Just join us and come to whatever sessions work for you. Bring your skates, bring your enthusiasm, and bring your patience with yourself. We're all learning, and we're all here to have a good time doing it.
