• What we'll do Frugal Fashionista Clothing Swap™ Please read all the way through. Clothing drop off at 12 noon, no earlier as we are setting up. We are more than a meetup - WE ARE A MOVEMENT! Are you ready to get inspired? Are you ready to go shopping and update your wardrobe without breaking the bank? Don't shop!!! SWAP! At our "Swap Til' You Drop' Clothing Swap Events you can meet with locals to swap the cool clothes you no longer want or need. Our events cost just $15.00 for entry paid at the door-. The venue at the Governmental center does not allow room for the potluck so we will no longer set up a table. Just bring all of the clothing, shoes and accessories you have! You can shop/swap for all the items that you want! You are welcome to take home just as much as you like! We accept cash only and please bring exact change. Volunteers, please get in touch with Dianna Moy to be put on the volunteer list. DIANNA.NICOLE.MOY@COMCAST.NET We NEED volunteers to make this happen. Please show up an hour and a half earlier than swap time and plan to stay through cleanup. VOLUNTEERS PAY $10, and can choose 5 items before the swap starts as an incentive to help pull this off. DO NOT VOLUNTEER IN THE COMMENT SECTION. Dianna can be reached by email or through meetup. It's an opportunity to gain basically free new-to-you outfits, accessories and shoes and contribute your time to what ultimately helps such great causes. Any unclaimed items will be donated to a local domestic violence shelter and any remaining money left over after recouping fees laid out (if any) is donated to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) I'm a huge supporter of domestic violence & sexual assault victims & survivors. • What to bring Please bring ONLY CLEAN, non-stained and not torn or ripped pieces of clothing The minimum for entry is 5 items plus 2 accessories (jewelry, purses, shoes, scarves) Make sure you would be proud to give an item to a friend before bagging your items. We have had lots of clothing come through that are not is swappable condition and I need your help to stop it. We DO NOT trade men's or children's clothes or shoes. We are also no longer accepting trinkets or anything that is not clothing, shoes, purses or jewelry. Do not bring things like lanyards, cards, measuring tape, cups, books, towels, sheets, squeegees, etc. or things from your junk drawer. ONLY CLOTHING, SHOES, PURSES OR JEWELRY. NOTHING ELSE. Accessories mean purses, scarves, hats... nothing else please. Make sure you bring an extra bag to take your choices home in. Please do not bring clothing in boxes. Bags only, please. My new car doesn't have the same size for storage as my old van so I am limited to how much I can transport to the shelter. It would be great if someone could take a few bags of the leftover clothing and donate them to your choice of places. I don't want to get stuck at the end of the swap with bags that don't fit. I don't want to leave any bags behind for the janitor to have to clean up. Please let me know if you can help with this ;) Vendors: We do not have ANY available vendor swaps as the venue is too small. • Important to know Code of conduct... Price. $15 to get in and $10 for volunteers. No Fighting, pushing or scratching over any item. You will be told to leave the swap; no refunds. Do not hoard. Do not get caught selling your newly gained treasures on places like ebay or the like. You will be banned from the swap indefinitely. Only bring actual CLOTHING, SHOES OR JEWELRY. Frugal Fashionista Clothing Swap™

Our events cost just $10.00 for entry paid at the door- Just bring all of the clothing, shoes and accessories you have! You can shop/swap for all the items that you want! You are welcome to take home just as much as you like!

Are you a Recessionista Fashionista? Let's not allow our economy to get us down! Not only is a clothing swap an awesome excuse to organize our closets, get rid of stuff we no longer want, and gather a group of like minded people together for an afternoon of fun or evening of shopping and dancing to the tunes of DJ Kat. It's an opportunity to gain basically free new-to-you outfits, accessories and shoes! What's better than that? I'll tell ya! Any unclaimed items will be donated to a local domestic violence shelter and any remaining money left over after recouping fees laid out is donated to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) I'm a huge supporter of domestic violence & sexual assault victims & survivors. We will support other causes as well but this is our groups main focus. See below for other programs we are currently supporting and programs we have supported and worked with in the past.

The Frugal Fashionista Clothing Swap is taking on a new endeavor by partnering with All Media Linked, Inc. to support our local veteran community through this awesome veterans outreach program! Being a veteran myself, I am proud to work with All Media Linked on this project, working for my brothers and sisters in arms. We will still hold our monthly swaps that benefit domestic violence shelters and RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network). The We Heart Vets program run by All Media Linked will be in addition to our regular clothing swaps. These swaps are more than just swaps -the swap is but a small addition to what the WE HEART VETS program already offers veterans! Lunch is usually provided and they offer computer training and Microsoft certification - help with resumes and job placement -so many things! This event is STRICTLY for Active Duty Military, Veterans and/ or the families of either.

We Heart Vets is an immense demonstration of Love, Celebrating Veterans the last Saturday in each month w/ Feast, Festival & Opportunities! Help us continue an elaborate show of support to Veterans with your contribution of revenue, gifts, opportunities, goods & services.

We Heart Vets is an outreach program that provides support, educational services, and career services to Veterans and their families. For the majority of the veteran population, the effect of active military service can be profound and long-lasting. So much so, many veterans have found it difficult to adjust to “normal life” again. There are veterans whose resources have become inadequate and insufficient to simply meet basic needs. There are also others who are abandoned and unrecognized by their family members and those who can receive life changing benefits from training, certification & career resources. Not to mention the benefits of encouragement, motivation & optimism!

It is in these cases that a hand from organizations, community groups, personalities and individuals will cause our service men and women to thrive. The veterans need and deserve all the support they can garner. After all, they have contributed much to the establishment of a safe, stable USA.

The We Heart Vets program and event partners provide the following resources for veterans and their families:

• Workforce development training
• Referrals to organizations that provide services
• Employment opportunities
• Goods, Services, Product & Entertainment to enhance the monthly events.

We Heart Vets is a program created by Global Community Enrichment Foundation, Inc., and its media partner, All Media Linked, Inc., a multimedia, event/direct Marketing Network, and Communications vehicle which provides brand declaration, strategic planning, trending and development for your business, organization, brand, product and/or service.

Current programs we are supporting:

• RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network)

• "We Heart Vets": Veterans outreach program in partnership with All Media Linked

• NOMore - Ending Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault

• Polaris Group - Anti Sex Trafficking Group

• ACTS Turning Points - Is the only comprehensive Domestic Violence intervention program serving Prince William County and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. Services include a domestic violence shelter, individual counseling, support groups for men, women and children, a behavioral intervention program, court advocacy and accompaniment, Hispanic services, training for allied professionals; and community awareness presentations and outreach. All Clothing, Shoes and Accessories remaining after the swap are donated to the ACTS Thrift Store which in turn supports the ACTS Turning Point Program for Domestic Violence as well as other ACTS programs. Vendor tables can be purchased at all of our events now that we have found a 4,000 sf space at the Lincolnia Senior Center!
