Candlelight Bellydance Class - $6

Candlelight Bellydance.

You only need to see the photos from the last Candlelight Bellydance event we hosted to see how fabulous it was!

Everyone loved it - it is, indeed, a VERY SPECIAL event so please get your RSVPS in early.

We're capping the RSVP list this time so we can all have plenty of room to move.

If you think bellydance is a piece of cake, you're in for a bit of a surprise. All that shaking and moving turns out to be a workout, especially on your abs. Who knew some of us (myself included) even had abdominal muscles?! You'll know at the end of this class geared for beginners.

If you've always had Jasmine envy (from Disney's Aladdin), always wanted to be a Genie in a Bottle, always felt like the jingle-jangle of gypsy coins wrapped around your waist was the hottest thing you ever did see, then this bellydance class is for you. We're bellydance curious but not quite committed yet.

This is a one hour introductory bellydance class by candlelight with Arabic music. If you're not a bellydancer, this is truly your class! Our flirtatious teacher, Estela, exudes all that is right in the bellydancing world including a wink of encouragement just when you need it most. Expect a fun workout with graceful moves, smooth transitions and a relaxing cool down. She promises to go somewhat easy on us while teaching us some sexy moves we may be able to whip out in the future!

The class will be held at my spacious residence with tile floors.

If you have to leave, you'll be out the door by 8:00PM. If not, stay and mingle (read: gossip) for a bit.

It's the best Wednesday night in town!

FORMAT: You must bring a bottle of water and a yoga mat or towel. We will not provide towels or mats, sorry.

Since we were able to provide the venue, we worked out a serious deal. Estela gave Frugal Vegas a discount for this class only. $6 Cash.

You will be happy you attended - a couple of fantastic surprises are planned (as if the candlelight, arabic music and bellydancing weren't enough). Bare feet, leggings or workout pants, comfortable tops and veils ok. Pointy eyeliner works, too. Dig out your chandelier earrings from a million seasons ago for the full effect! (Estela wants to make sure you're moving correctly, so let's skip skirts.) Please refrain from wearing perfume or scented lotion.
