What we’re about
This is a Black-forward, BIPOC group for those in the LGBTQIA and Queer space to discuss firearms and related topics. We will focus on Discussion, Resources/Skill-Sharing, and Camaraderie here.
Important Notice: due to the focus on some of our most vulnerable identities, Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) are denied access to our space. There has been plenty of statistics and lived experiences of queer and/or BIPOC people as to why this is important; I implement this rule to have the group be as safe as possible. In short: 1312, ACAB, NO COPS ALLOWED.
Transparency: I was a former organizer of the local Pink Pistols group... until half of the admin team insisted on allowing cops-- queer or ally-- into what is supposed to be a safer space. As a Queer Black person myself, I felt the group no longer served my needs and resigned. (As I have yet to receive a straight answer from the National branch on this matter, maybe it never did.)
