Spam sucks. A great way of dealing with spam is using Bayes' Theorem, a well known formula first derived in the 1700s. Armed with Bayes theorem and F#, we'll create a classifier that will automatically label messages as spam or ham. Using F#'s functional approach we'll start with a very simple solution that filters out most spam and then look at ways of improving our accuracy. Expect a mix of machine learning, functional programming and live coding as we build the spam filter live.
