What we’re about

The Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) was recently revised, and this group is here to help us prepare together under the new format.

The test now includes:
• Job Knowledge – U.S. government, history, society; world history and geography; economics; math and statistics
• English Usage and Comprehension – reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and clarity of expression
• Logical Reasoning – making inferences, justifying conclusions, finding logical flaws, identifying assumptions

✅ Note: There is no longer a written essay or situational judgment section.

Our Goal

To build a supportive study community that helps aspiring Foreign Service Officers stay motivated, share resources, and practice test-style questions together.

Who Should Join
• Anyone preparing for the FSOT in 2025 or future years
• First-time test takers and repeat candidates
• People who want accountability, practice sessions, and group discussion

What We’ll Do at Meetups
• Break down each FSOT section and study weekly topics
• Practice Job Knowledge drills (government, history, world affairs, economics, math)
• Do English Usage & Comprehension timed practice together
• Work through Logical Reasoning questions as a group
• Share prep resources and strategies
• Build a consistent routine leading up to the exam
