Kayak with us this Sunday! (BYO Kayak, or rent one and bring it)

Let's take the kayaks and cruise the lovely waterways of Ft Lauderdale! 9am this Sunday morning, let's all meet (with our Kayaks) at Colee Hammock Park in Ft Lauderdale at the seawall. (1500 Brickell Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301). You'll have to drop the kayaks and find parking nearby and then drag the kayaks to the seawall to meet us. We'll be in a red kayak and a beige (sinking - for real lol) kayak. We'll paddle to the sandbar and maybe swim and hang out for a bit, then we'll paddle back to the departure spot. Currents will be what they are, and if too strong, you can stop safely on either end, so not to worry. Bring something to drink and a light snack (fruit or other in a ziplock baggie) to enjoy on the sandbar. There is usually a little snack bar there as well, if you're more hungry. I think they take CCards, and probably cash as well, but I'd bring both to be safest. Questions, give me a call anytime (before 10pm and after 8:30am) before the trip. No limit to how many people can come:-) If light rain, we'll still go, if heavy rain, we'll pospone and try another time. See you on Sunday morning!! If you need to rent a kayak, I recommend planning ahead, as they may not be available without prior arrangements, there are no rental kayaks at the site.
