HISTORY
San Antonio Winery, located in the heart of Los Angeles, was founded in 1917 by Santo Cambianica, an Italian immigrant.
Despite the challenges of Prohibition (1920–1933), the winery survived by producing sacramental wine for the Catholic Church—a rare legal exception at the time.
As LA’s urban landscape grew, San Antonio Winery remained rooted in its original location near downtown, eventually becoming the last remaining winery in Los Angeles. It has stayed in the hands of the Riboli family, who have preserved its legacy for over four generations.
Today, San Antonio Winery is a California Historic Landmark, known for its award-winning wines, on-site restaurant, and wine tasting experiences, blending old-world tradition with modern hospitality.
