Hike: Ventura Botanical Gardens (Free Version)

Alright meetup people, join me as we hike up to the upper part of the Ventura Botanical Gardens. This is a free event to attend, which we will enjoy the best part of the gardens, get some great views of Ventura, and also check out The Serra Cross. I will also upload some photos that I took, so you can get a sense of what to expect. So join me because I promise you this will be more exciting than fishing for trout in the Mississippi River.

Goal #1: Meet me in front of City Hall
Goal #2: Go up the abandoned road
Goal #3: Check the best parts of the garden
Goal #4: Check out the views of Ventura
Goal #5: Check out Serra Cross

Info on hike:
-About 2-3 miles
-Steep on some parts (we will take breaks)
-Dogs are allowed but on a leash

-I like all Meetup members, even the ugly ones.

Driving to the event:
-type in “501 Poli Street, Ventura”
-Plenty of parking spots
-There is free parking behind city hall
-But we will be meeting in front of city hall.
