Community Energy Meet-Up - Sept 2026
The Britons Protection, 50 Great Bridgewater Street, M1 5LE, Manchester, GBWhether brand new or an old-hat in the world of community energy, this is a casual evening to meet like-minded people across Greater Manchester to exchange knowledge, build relationships, swap leads/contacts and fuel the growth of community energy across GM. You’ll also be first to know about our upcoming Fuelling Manchester Network events, training opportunities and community energy site visits.
It is an exciting time within community energy, with opportunities from GB Energy starting to emerge. It is important that GM is ready to make the most of these and that we build a strong, collaborative and equitable community energy sector across GM.
Submissions for a general theme of discussion for the evening, or as we like to call it, the ‘Ale Agenda', are encouraged – info@carbon.coop for suggestions. It’s a (social) business networking session, so if you feel free to drop in if you can’t make it into town for 6pm.
There will be some light bites laid on.
This event will be recurring, monthly, on the third Thursday of the month in the upstairs function room at Britons Protection from 6pm - 8pm, although the ambition is to move the event around Greater Manchester over time.
