Welcome to Fukuoka Rust Meetup — where we gather Fukuoka's finest (and sometimes slightly confused) Rustaceans. Inspired by our friends at the Tokyo Rust Meetup (yes, we blatantly stole the idea), this group is all about coming together to celebrate the joys and occasional tribulations of writing Rust code. Or, you know, just to vent about lifetimes and borrow checkers over a good cup of coffee.
Whether you're a seasoned Rust wizard who talks to compilers like old friends, or a complete newbie who’s still googling "Why does Rust hate me?"—this group is for you. We welcome Rustaceans of all levels, from the “I can’t believe I’m using Rust for this side project” folks to the “Why won’t my code compile?!” screamers.
Join us as we grab coffee (or something stronger for those tricky compiler errors), code together, and exchange tales of ownership battles and lifetime woes. Share your projects, rant about your issues, or just come to nod knowingly as someone mentions "fearless concurrency."
Sometimes we'll even have presentations about fellow Rustaceans' experiences—because who doesn't love a good story about taming the borrow checker?
