Buck Moon Night Paddle

Hiya Night Paddlers! Dropping in a last minute sesh for Weds. night as the forecast is cloudy the rest of the week up to the full moon Saturday night.

Meet at the Austin Parks & Rec lot past the Zach Theater lot on Riverside. No events scheduled at Zach so parking should be open and free. We'll try to be on the water by 7:45 to catch the sunset and paddle downtown.

Here are the basics, post or message me with any questions:

1. Bring your own board or kayak, paddle, lights, life vest if desired, and any snacks or drinks you'd care to responsibly consume (no glass or styrofoam please).
2. No rental options onsite, if you need a board or kayak you can post to the group and perhaps a kind soul will have an extra available.
3. All are welcome! Please be able to 1) Swim, 2) Carry your equipment about 100 yards down to the water, and 3) Paddle in some form or fashion. The group may move at different paces but will end up at the same place.
4. Pets are at owner's discretion. There are occasional blooms of blue-green algae around the lake which can be toxic or even fatal to pets. More info here: https://www.austintexas.gov/page/algae
5. High wind, rain, or lightning will cancel. Check the chat section for updates.
