Bonfire and Hayride at Heritage Park Nature Center

Join us at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills for a bonfire and hayride!

This is an ally event, which means there may be some Allistic allies in attendance, in addition to our Autistic peer group.

The bonfire starts at 4pm. The Nature Center building closes at 4pm, but we will still have access to the bathrooms in the lobby throughout our event.

You are welcome to bring marshmallows, chocolate & graham crackers for smores, hot dogs, or anything else you might want to cook on a stick over the fire. Be sure to bring cooking sticks or skewers. There is also a grill available if anyone wants to bring supplies and food to grill.

The hayride is typically around 5:30pm and can take about 20-25 people. We can do two hayrides if we have more people or if anyone wants to go a second time.

Feel free to bring any outdoor games you want to play!

They always tell us 6pm for an end time but we have done this event the past three years and no one kicked us out right at 6pm. You can find more information about Heritage Park at https://fhgov.com/play,-explore-learn/parks-facilities/heritage-park.

See you October 24th!
