For years, "adding AI" meant shipping your users' data to someone else's servers, paying per token, and hoping the network held up. That's changing. In our first meeting we'll explore client-first AI — running real AI on the user's device, with no backend, no API keys, and no data ever leaving the browser.
The star of the night is Google Gemini Nano, Google's small, on-device model now built directly into Chrome. We'll cover what Nano is, why "local-only" is a genuine breakthrough for privacy, cost, and latency, where it shines (and where it doesn't), and — with live code — how to call it in a few lines of JavaScript using Chrome's built-in AI APIs. You'll leave able to add private, offline-capable AI to a web app the same night.
