Talks:
Exploring TailwindCSS as an intuitive and powerful toolset to streamline frontend development
TailwindCSS is a utility-first CSS framework that has recently become widely popular. One of its main strengths is its developer experience, which enables rapidly building custom user interfaces by quickly styling HTML elements via pre-defined classes. This approach makes it easier to maintain consistent styles across an application, as well as speeding up UI design building and iteration processes.
In this presentation, we will explore the main features and benefits TailwindCSS has to offer, and we will briefly compare its developer experience to other popular CSS frameworks. We will also explore some of its key features, including its structure as a design system, responsive design capabilities, and extensive library of pre-defined CSS classes.
Finally, we will take a closer look at the current state of the TailwindCSS environment and explore some of the most exciting tools in its newest version. Whether you're a seasoned frontend developer or just getting started with web development, this presentation will provide valuable insights into how TailwindCSS can help you build beautiful and responsive user interfaces with ease.

JP Yepez is an engineering artist and frontend developer working for Roam Digital. He has a background in creative technology and mechatronic engineering and is passionate about art, digital media, and interactivity. As his PhD project, he built Azure Talos, an autonomous robotic guitar for music composition and real-time performance. JP believes in empowering teams and the tech community through research, knowledge sharing, and thought leadership.

How to land your dream job in tech (and overcome the challenge to change careers and become a Full Stack developer)
Looking for your first job in tech is not easy. It is challenging. Let’s talk about how to position yourself when looking for your first job in tech or finding your new role. How to custom your LinkedIn profile to attract good networking (and possible offers) and all the challenges of making the change into tech.

Lory Costa is a full-stack developer who made a career change from human resources two years ago. As a woman, Lory believes in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion and is committed to positively impacting the tech community.
