Full Moon in Aries Ceremony

Details

Welcome to our first Full Moon Ceremony!

During this gathering, we’ll move through meditation, setting intentions, and community sharing to harness the energy of the Full Moon in Aries. Together, we’ll create space to release what no longer serves us and to welcome clarity, courage, and self-trust.

No prior experience needed! Just bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to reflect.

WHEN
Monday, October 6, 2025
7:00p - 8:00p

LOCATION
Tumlin Park
400 Chestnut Hill Rd SW, Marietta, GA 30064

We will try to be in the small pavilion on the Northeast corner of Tumlin Park - just past and behind the Tennis and Pickleball courts. If the pavilion is occupied and the weather permits it, the alternative meeting spot will be on the grassy field adjacent to the pavilion.

CEREMONY STRUCTURE

  • 7:00 Settle in around the altar, make your offerings, pick a spot.
  • 7:10 We will start with some information on the current moon cycle. You are welcome to share any information or insights.
  • 7:15 Light stretching, releasing any tension, followed by a brief meditation.
  • 7:25 Quiet reflection. Feel free to write in your journals or write on a piece of paper something you want to release during this full moon cycle.
  • 7:35 If you feel called, you are welcome to read your release list aloud, 1-2 minutes per person, before burning the paper.
  • 7:55 We will close the circle by cleansing and grounding.

After we close the ceremony, you are welcome to socialize, share your experience, share something you brought, or simply bask in the energy of the full moon.

WHAT TO BRING
You are invited to bring the following, but absolutely not required. Not everyone's practice and intention will look the same. If something resonates with you, we invite you to explore it.

  1. Notebook/paper and pencil - For your own personal reflection and/or to write on and burn later.
  2. An offering to the Earth - Stones, crystals, nuts, chocolate, beads, small statues, personal items, locally grown and native flowers, fruits, herbs, leaves. We will set all offerings on our center altar during the ceremony. All items should return to their owners at the end or shared with others.
  3. Blankets or mats - Weather permitting, we will be sitting on the grass. Bring a picnic blanket, or yoga mat that you don't mind getting dirty.
  4. Something to share - This could be tea, pastries, chocolate, a song, a poem, a story, a quote or lyric you liked, music from your new sound bowl, a tarot reading.
