Join us for a beautiful 5.7-mile loop hike through Peters Canyon Regional Park on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 8:00 AM! This trail offers rolling hills, lake and canyon views, and a mix of shaded and open terrain, making it the perfect way to start your weekend with fresh air and movement.

About the Trail

• Distance: 5.7-mile loop
• Difficulty: Moderate – mostly easy terrain with some short, steep climbs
• Elevation Gain: ~500 feet
• Trail Type: Well-maintained dirt paths, wide fire roads, and single-track trails
• Scenic Highlights:
• Peters Canyon Reservoir – A peaceful body of water surrounded by rolling hills
• East Ridge Viewpoint – A stunning panoramic view of the canyon and beyond

🚗 Parking: $3 per vehicle (cash/card accepted) or OC Parks Annual Pass. Arrive early as parking fills up quickly!
🚻 Restrooms: Available at the trailhead.
🐕 Dogs: Permitted on a leash.
☀️ Weather: Expect mild morning temperatures with minimal shade on some sections of the trail.
