FLN#8: Workshop: Claude Code for UX Designers, An Introduction

Join us for a hands-on introductory workshop where you'll learn how to use Claude Code as part of your design workflow. From spinning up interactive prototypes to connecting directly with your Figma files. We'll also explore how Claude can support the less visible parts of design work: researching topics, structuring information, and organising your thinking in markdown files.

No coding experience required. No prior Claude Code knowledge needed. Just curiosity.

What we'll cover:

- What Claude Code is and how it differs from a regular AI chatbot
- Claude Desktop App vs. terminal: which one is right for you
- Connecting Claude to Figma via MCP to pull design data directly into your workflow
- Building code prototypes for better developer handoff
- Using Claude for research, structuring information, and markdown files
- Real examples from an active UX design workflow

To get the most out of this workshop, having a Claude Pro subscription and a Figma account will let you follow along hands-on. That said, you're welcome to attend and observe

After the workshop, we'll close with a round table discussion on where AI is taking the design industry, what's changing now, and what we can expect next. Pull up a chair and bring your perspective.
