Move fast and build things: Hybrid-first with the GREEN stack by Thorr Stevens
At Bothrs our bottom-line is delivering more value in less time. But how do we do it from a dev point of view? How can we improve even more? In this talk we’ll have a look at how going cross-platform from the start of a project, single sources of truth and introducing some automation can help you gain speed, and possibly deliver and charge more per sprint.
Speaker: When not sharing dev memes and UX dreams on socials or coding on the latest health companion apps at Bothrs, Thorr spends his time figuring out how best to build for both iOS, Android and the Web from the start with Expo and Next.js. Are we ready to live on the edge? by Andrei Viorel Chis
Edge computing is now a hot trend for delivering modern web applications, but are we there yet? In this talk we will go over what it is, how it works and we will compare it with serverless computing.
Speaker: Viorel is a Software Engineer at Cheqroom who takes programming as a passion, more than a job. At 23 years old with most of his experience as a Full Stack Developer and a "I can do anything no matter what" mentality (or "yes boss" mentality as he jokes about it) he loves getting involved in as many activities as possible, learning new things and also sharing what he already knows. For him python is more like second nature, but he also keeps a strong focus on other backend frameworks and also architecture, infrastructure topics.
