Paintball! (Afternoon Session - Games, Equipment & 400 paintballs)

We are finally going to be doing Paintball! Whether you have done before or never have before and always wanted to, this will be for you.

Paintball is great fun, competitive, and needing focus to either shoot someone or avoid being shot :). If you haven't got hit with a paintball before and wondering if it hurts, best way to find out is to do it. You will have all the protective gear.

There are various games which normally involve being eliminated once you are shot. We will take part in a few different games on the day.

Location
This will be at the Gatwick Location. The most popular location outside of London, so expect plenty of people to be participating as it always sells out:

Schedule

10:45am - Arrive at Blackfriars for Train at 11:09am (this train to Three Bridges and 291 bus should get you to venue) - however do plan ahead*
12:15pm - Arrive at the Venue
12:30pm - Paintball prep and briefing
1:00pm - 4:00pm - 6 X 25 minutes Paintball Sessions
4:00pm - 4:30pm - Debrief after session
4:30pm + Travel back to London

We can also grab food at the venue (Hot Dogs, Pizzas etc.) and drink seither before or after. Probably best to bring water :) or your own lunch.

Includes:

• Essentials: Park Admission, Equipment, Gun Hire, Gas Refills, Marshals
• Up to 6 Exciting Games (25 mins each)
• 400 Paintballs each - should be enough for afternoon session in total. (additional paintballs can be purchased for £7 for 100, and gas grenades £3.50)

Travel
Is not included, you can get an super off peak ticket for £11.20 from London Blackfriars (or other london Stations) to Three Bridges. Then we can get a short bus ride (10-20 mins max to the venue). Buses 272, 281, 291, 400.

Previously many have aimed for the 10:59am train from Blackfriars which gets us to Three Bridges for 11:40am. If you miss this train the 11:10 should get you there on time too, a later train will be pushing it for time.

FAQ'S

Do the paintballs hurt? - it usually feels like a firm flick. But this will depend on how fast the ball is going, the distance it travels and where on the body it hits you. Paintball injuries on't be too extensive, but you should expect a few minor bruises and bumps after playing.

How many paintballs will I need? I have been told 300-350 is average use for half day session, so have gone with that, if you want more you can purchase extra
