Railway Heritage Reserves Trail. Glen Forrest- Mundaring- Glen Forrest

A popular heritage railway trail which a section of this was linked Fremantle to York in the 1880's. This is quite a long track so we would do it in stages.

This hike we will start from Glen Forrest and go to Mundaring, turn around and head back to the car. This will be 6.7km to Mundaring and 6.7km back to Glen Forrest. So 13.4km in total. This trail is flat and easy. Make sure you bring something to eat and plenty of water. We will set off at 9am. This walk will take around 5 hours.

At Mundaring we can have a rest at the Mundaring hotel or cafe.
