About us
If you are looking to dine out, go to comedy shows, live music events, festivals, farmers markets, regular hikes with and without dogs, explore parks and museums, while expanding your social circle and making friends, this group is for you.
Our focus is mostly Marin County and San Francisco, but will also include events in surrounding counties.
We are a mix of newcomers to Marin, women starting a new life chapter, and women who have lived in the area a long time.
We will try to make events for larger groups so everyone that wants to attend gets a chance!
If you have a good idea for an event - either a one time or regular activity, please contact me. It will take many hosts to make this group fun and interesting with diverse activities. I hope that you will meet new friends with women that share similar interests and interesting women that also want to see more of what this beautiful area has to offer and attend events that just aren’t quite as fun attending alone.
*Please make sure to have a photo of yourself to your profile.
*New hosts must attend at least one event to be verified.
*Remember that you are responsible for your own comfort and safety.
*Please add your input on fun ideas to the message board thread!

This is a gently moderated gathering, with no advice given, no judgment, all are given a chance to speak. You will leave with a heart full of love for the human experience.
Many people say that by attending a Death Café they find greater vibrancy, peace, joy, wonder in their daily lives.

Word of Mouth (like Moth)
Sausalito Center for the Arts, 750 Bridgeway, Sausalito, CA, USGet ready for a night of hilarious, unbelievable, awkward, chaotic, and “there is absolutely no way this actually happened” stories at Sausalito Center for the Arts. Link for the ticket is below. Tickets are $28.52.

Word of Mouth returns with the theme: You’ve Got to Be Kidding — which basically guarantees an evening of outrageous storytelling, questionable life decisions, plot twists, family disasters, dating fails, travel mishaps, and moments that still make people wake up at 3 a.m. whispering “why did I do that?”
If you love shows like The Moth, this is your kind of night. Come listen, laugh, cringe in solidarity, and maybe leave thinking, “okay wow… my life is actually pretty normal.”
How it works:
Before the show begins, anyone in the audience who has a story to tell can drop their name into a storytelling hat at the door. During the show, 10 names will be randomly drawn, and those lucky storytellers will take the stage to share their story on the evening’s theme.
Each story is scored by a panel of audience judges based on how well it connects to the theme, and the emotional or narrative impact it leaves. At the end of the night, the highest-scoring teller will be crowned our Word of Mouth Champion — with all the glory, bragging rights, and applause that go with it.
Whether you come to tell or just to listen, you’ll leave inspired, moved, and maybe even laughing through tears. It’s not a performance. It’s not a contest (okay, maybe a little). It’s a celebration of honesty, humor, and the simple magic of one human voice in a room full of others.[https://www.sausalitocenterforthearts.org/word](More Info - Sausalito Center for the Arts and Word of Mouth)
