Marin Book Club I

June’s book is Damnation Spring by Ash Davidson copyright 2021. Available at the library and all the usual formats

The June meeting will be at The Lodge in San Anselmo/Fairfax. It is outdoors under a tent so bring a jacket. We have a reservation. If you will be ordering food, consider arriving a little early since their kitchen will be a slammed handling that many individual orders.

Book Club I is capped at 18 participants and is currently full. We close the group so that we can get to know one another and it isn't a free for all each month. If someone doesn't attend or needs to leave the group, we'll go to a waitlist to add a new member. In my experience about 10-12 of the 18 will come to any particular meet up so it usually works well.

Book Club I will meet monthly on the first Sunday of the month at 2 pm. Books are chosen by participants each month with preference given to books about California or local female authors. Meeting places will vary.

Since this book club is at the maximum number of participants, if you are interested in book club please sign up for Marin Book Club II which just opened. It will follow the same book club list as Book Club I as we may do other meetup events that are inspired by the reading list.
