*VOLUNTEER EVENT* Meals Matter @ Ronald McDonald House

Join us for a meaningful evening giving back to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Ann Arbor.
Our group will be preparing and serving a homemade dinner for families who are caring for children receiving medical treatment nearby. This is a hands-on volunteer opportunity where we’ll work together in the kitchen to cook, serve, and clean up afterward.

No professional cooking experience is needed — just a willingness to help and be part of a team effort. Tasks may include food prep, cooking, packing, and kitchen cleanup.

Important Notes

• The kitchen has a maximum capacity of 8 volunteers, so attendance is limited.
• Please sign up only if you are confident you can attend.
• Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
• Parking is very limited. You may need to park elsewhere and walk to the building. Please allow extra time for this.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please don't try to jump the waitlist queue, unless you are invited to do so.

To ensure that everyone has a chance to attend and enjoy events, we kindly ask that you only sign up for events that you can commit to attending. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, so if you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours before the event. Late cancellations can prevent others from taking your spot.

Repeatedly signing up for events and canceling, or failing to show up without canceling, will result in removal from the group. These policies are in place to protect the group's integrity and to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to participate in events.

LIABILITY WAIVER

By participating in our events, you agree that Fun Fit Learn Serve and its organizers are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the event. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should be aware of their physical limitations. By attending, you waive any claims against Fun Fit Learn Serve and its organizers for any injuries or damages that may occur during the event.
