Parking update #2: It turns out some of what we thought were available spots on Inlet are in fact private property, so if the lot is full, and you are looking to park on that street, please only park on the south side of the street (right side after you turn onto it). There are 2 spots in a dirt cutout, and several more parallel to the street up to the large hedge. Please do not park in the paved cutout, on the north side of the street, in any driveways, or past the hedge. Your best bets are still carpooling and arriving a little early if you can! See you tomorrow!
Location update: This week we will be doing the Shoreline Trail to Nomad Trail Loop up behind the Horsetooth Reservoir. It is a 3.7 mile loop, with 377 ft of elevation. It is listed as Moderate on the difficulty scale, but Ashley has done it multiple times and says it's on the Easy side of Moderate. Dogs are allowed, but must be on leash. Parking is available at the Soderberg Trailhead (where we will meet) for $10, or there are several cut out and street spots available at Ashley's place which is a 7-8 min walk from the trailhead. i will let her post a comment about parking there for whoever wants to. If you do end up parking there or anywhere outside the park, please make sure to give yourself enough time to get to the trailhead for a 9am departure!
Location TBD! Come join us as we get out and enjoy the fresh air and good conversation on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. We will be exploring different open spaces throughout the Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor and Timnath areas.
