Handgun - Essential Carry Skills

After the success of our recent Intro to Handguns class, I wanted to offer the next step for anyone interested. Class size is limited to the first 16 interested people.

From the website - "This 8-10 hour class is designed for the novice shooter wanting formal education on proper gun handling and the basics of carrying a concealed weapon. This class also instills in its participants the right mindset necessary to own a firearm, how to apply the rules of gun safety, proper gun handling, firearm and ammunition storage, fundamentals of good marksmanship, and how to properly draw from holster."

This class costs $150, includes both classroom instruction and range time, and satisfies the state requirement for applying for a Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP). In order to qualify on the range, you may bring your own firearm, or rent one from the facility. You will also need to bring 50 rounds of ammo, and a holster if you have one.

***The facility is also available the following Sunday, 9/13, so if you are interested but can't make it on the 6th, send me a message and if we have enough interest, I can set up a class that day too.***
