Ventura beach walk, 4-6 miles, easy.

Thanks to Rob's idea for a beach walk, here we go ...

Let's take a walk on the sand, going south, then return the same way, continuing past our meeting point and going north to the Nat'l Park Service Headquarters. Then we'll walk through the harbor back to the start point.

It should be gorgeous and cool with island views at this time of year.

Pace: Any pace fine; we can take pics, watch surfers, and do some beachcoming.

Meet: On the sand in front of Surfer's Knoll parking lot, which is opposite the hat shop in the Ventura harbor. This isn't Surfer's Point! You can use this address to get directions in a map program:

Parking: Free, at Surfer's Knoll Parking Lot or along street nearby.

Time: Arrive earlier (e.g., 12:45PM). The group will wait 15 minutes for you until 1:00PM at the latest. If you get there at 1:01PM, we'll be gone.

Wear: shoes that are comfortable for walking on sand and sidewalk.
