City walk in the 1st - hidden gems!

A silly idea - looking for unknown spots in the very heart of Vienna. For sure everyone knows where this photo was taken ;) Or perhaps not so sure?

There's always a room for fascinating discoveries when it comes to Vienna. Not on a scale of a Hofburg or a Stephansdom, yet some findings can feel quite refreshing if you've lived in Vienna for some years and you think there are no surprises left.

This time we focus on the 1st district. We start at Schottentor and snake our way through the Innere Stadt, taking our time to appreciate it beauty. The journey ends in the 1st as well, next to Hofburg.

Most stops at our journey - and there is more is than a dozen - are not to be revealed yet. One exception - we're going to visit a massively overlooked Vienna Roman Museum. And it's free - first Sunday of the month it is.
