Sexy Elf or Mrs Clause Holiday Paddle

It's time to pull, out that Sexy Christmas costume for our inaugural Holiday Paddle around the beautiful homes and boats of Huntington Harbor! Whether you Stand Up Paddle or prefer to Kayak, all are welcome. Just wear your best Sexy Elf or Mrs. Clause outfit and be prepared to spread some early Christmas cheer!

We'll meet on the beach at OC Paddle Sports for those who need to rent a SUP or kayak. Then we will paddle through the meandering waterways bringing smiles to everyone along the way. If you get there early, feel free to have a practice paddle around the beach area. And if you want, have a pre-paddle beverage on the beach (coffee and Irish cream is always a good option to bring from home!)

There will be a beach stop halfway through for drinks and snacks (adult beverages are great if you want a little more Christmas Cheer!) And yes, there will be facilities if you need to make room for a little more, lol.

After the break, we'll paddle our way back to the start - with the option of going to lunch at Green Cheek Beer Company across the street if you want to keep the party going! In costume of course, lol.

Parking on PCH can be challenging sometimes, so leave early.

And if you can't make it after all or are running late, please message me so we don't wait for someone who isn't showing up.

If you're a seasoned paddler, you already know what to bring, but here are some tips for newbies:

• Get to OC Paddlesports a little before 10:45am, to get your gear
• bring a drybag of some sort that you can put under the bungee cords on the board to hold a small towel, a drink, maybe a light snack, sunscreen, keys, phone, money, cards, etc. It will get a bit wet on the outside but should ideally keep everything dry that's on the inside.
  - If it's a homemade drybag (like just a plastic bag) or you're not completely confident about it, also put valuables in a waterproof bag or ziplock first.
• Wear a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
  - And wear something that dries quickly just in case you get wet. If you like leggings, it's sometimes a good idea to also wear a bikini bottom under them in case you get wet or just want to take them off later.
• Bring water
  - If you've got a waterproof speaker you like to use when you paddle, bring it along! I'll have mine playing a variety of fun tunes.
