What we’re about
The Society of Single Professionals is the world's largest non-profit singles organization. We organize dozens of fun parties all over the Bay Area, plus Singles Travel to exotic destinations worldwide.
All of our events are fundraisers for The Seva Foundation, to restore sight to the blind. Every $50 we raise finances a cataract surgery in one of the poor countries of the world!
Most of our events are for adults of all ages. We also have a Young Unattached Professionals division (YUPs) for singles under 40.

Ready to mix, mingle, and drink your way to new connections? This is your chance to meet new single friends, 40-59, in a fun, active setting. Whether you're a seasoned pickleball pro or just looking to try something new, come on out and enjoy some friendly competition, followed by a relaxed social hour. All levels are welcome and a pickleball professional will be available to answer any questions. Sunday, August 24, 2025, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. You are welcome to stay and mingle on the patio until 6:30 or 7pm.

LOCATION: 3277 Miranda Ave, Palo Alto, CA. conveniently located next to Foothills Country Club. Simply pass the tennis courts and drive through the parking lot. You'll find us at the very end of the lot.

- Grand Reopening of Salsa Dance Marin!SALSA DANCE MARIN, San Rafael, CA
Meet new friends who love to Salsa, Saturday, August 30, 2025, 1-3pm at the Grand Reopening of Salsa Dance Marin. Admission is FREE and includes a Salsa Dance Lesson, led by Lucie Ebnerova, the new owner. All ages are welcome.
“Salsa has been my escape place,” says Ms. Ebnerova. “No matter how much I juggle in my daily life, the moment I step onto the dance floor everything else fades away. I’m truly grateful for what Salsa has brought into my life.”
Salsa Dance Marin was created by Mark Ellis ten years ago, with Ms. Ebnerova’s help. “I’m grateful to be able to pass the baton to her,” says Mr. Ellis. “I’m confident that she will be able to continue the tradition of providing the best dance instruction in Marin County.”
