This is a group for people who are OVER 18 singles, divorced, separated, with/without kids, new to town, open up your friendship circle and whatever else…
Only open to people living in New South Wales (Australia), no Interstate or OS members. Please have a photo and a name attached to your profile to be approved.
We only want positive, FUN, friendly people who want to be social to be in this group. Being a bit shy or introverted at first is fine! We love helping you become more comfortable socially by hanging out with us all :)
Q - Is this group really free?
A -Yes. Free to join AND we try and keep most events free to attend, and you can buy your own food, drinks etc. If a fee is required, it will be listed in the event description
Q - Can I come along to events by myself?
A - Yes. And LOTS of people do (maybe even most people). BUT the point of this group is that you won't be alone for long, as you will meet new friends within a matter of seconds :)
Q - Can I bring a friend with me?
A - Yes! Most events allow you to add a +1 to your RSVP, even if your friend is not a member, although they might as well join the group anyway, as it is FREE! :)
Q - What's the age range for this group?
A - This group is for people who are 18 years old and over. We have members from 18 and all the way up to their 70's. Events are all 18+, UNLESS specified! Eg: some events are separated by age brackets, such as 'Ages 18-35', or 'Ages 40+' etc, and we ask that you respect these brackets when they are specified to keep our members happy :)
Q - RSVP and Cancelling
A- We do understand that plans change, and things just pop up. But please change your RSVP to a NOT GOING. Some of our events have number limitations and waiting lists. Please give 24-48 hours’ notice if you are now unable to make an event you have RSVP for.
We WILL NOT tolerate any abusive behaviour or harassment of our team, our members, or the people or staff at the events we attend, and offenders will be immediately removed and banned from the group.
