Grab a cocktail or your favorite snacks because we're bringing a fun trivia party directly to your home on Zoom! This is a multi-Meetup group event. 10 other groups have also been invited so we'll be sure to have a good size turnout. RSVPing on Meetup does not get you a spot... Get ready for a fun night of trivia on Zoom. Everyone is welcome and it's a really great time! Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a group of other people via video on Zoom. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. You'll enjoy an evening of fun trivia. We balance the questions making sure there are plenty of different topics and difficulty levels so everyone will have a good time. Our friendly host will be with you live on Zoom orchestrating the most fun trivia event you've ever been to!

You're welcome to hop on by yourself or join with friends. About 75% of people sign up by themself so don't worry if you're coming on alone! Our host will make introductions and put you on a team with other people so it's a great way to make new friends. It's a fantastic way to meet new people and we've witnessed countless friendships sparked at this event. In fact, the host gives everyone the opportunity to swap contact info with other people in the group at the end of the night if they'd like to.

If you sign up with friends, the host will make sure to put you on a team with your friends.

* The event host will group you off into teams and you'll be playing as a team against the other groups. You're never put on the spot to come up with answers... you'll be working with your team to answer the questions. You'll answer great trivia questions in all of your favorite categories like pop culture, history, entertainment (music, movies & TV), arts & literature, science and more. The winning team gets a prize!

* If you come on your own you'll be put on a team with others who have also come on their own. If you sign up along with friends we'll be sure to put you and your friends on the same team. (The awesome part about this event is that you'll always be working with your team to come up with answers so you're never put directly on the spot to have to answer anything).

* We have several unique rounds of trivia which keeps it really fun and exciting. Some rounds are like traditional trivia nights (simply answering trivia questions), other rounds are totally unique and change at each event. Sometimes we may show you a series of photos and ask you trivia questions about the photos, other times we play games like "Reverse Family Feud" where you'd have to guess the least popular answers to our question (it's soooo much fun!), or sometimes we'll play a "Find The Common Link" game where you'll have to answer some questions and figure out the common link between all the answers.

WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?
This is entirely new and revolutionary type of event for singles! We love the idea of traditional speed dating but sometimes it's hard to come up with things to talk about. That's why at a Dating Games Online Speed Dating Game Night you'll have fun, easy games to play to get to know everyone instead of dealing with the usual dating "job interview" type questions. We find that it's a much better way to get to know someone! You'll be put in Zoom breakout rooms with a small group of singles and you'll play games that will help you get to know each other. Some rounds you may be with small groups of 4 to 7 people and some rounds you may be 1 on 1 with someone of the opposite gender much like traditional speed dating. Essentially, you'll work with the other people as a team and compare answers with the other teams. Each round we change up the teams to make sure you get to meet and get to know everyone in attendance (we explain the games in more detail below).

HOW THE MATCHING WORKS:
Similar to traditional speed dating, at the end of the event the host will explain how you can keep in contact with anyone that you are interested in seeing again. We allow people to match as "friends" so you can meet wingmen and/or wingwomen at this event and we also allow people to match with people as potential love interests whom they'd like to see again for future dates.

WHAT KIND OF GAMES WILL WE BE PLAYING?
The fun games are set up to break the ice, help you gauge compatibility, make quality connections and to have a really fun night. An example game we like to play is "Dating Feud" which is similar to the popular prime time TV show we all know. In this game you and your group will be asked fun relationship style questions like, "Name a gift that women love men to give them". You will work together with a small group of singles to come up with what you think is the most popular answer and then you'll find out if you got the top answer. Another game we might play is called Blank Slate. In Blank Slate the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: Chicken _________. You'll write down a word that follows the word Chicken such as "Soup". Essentially you're trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We do different fun games at each event we throw! Another game we play is "Would You Rather" where we ask you fun questions like "Would you rather live the rest of your life without ever being able to watch a movie ever again or would you rather never be able to listen to any song/music again?". You answer the question and then you have to try and pick the most popular answer. You're then brought back from the breakout room into the main room to hear how everyone else answered the question. It's so much fun!

Thousands of people have met at our events and we've witnessed countless relationships and friendships formed. WHY THIS EVENT WORKS!
For many years we organized in person traditional speed dating events. While waiting for everyone to show up, the host would do some icebreaker style games to "Kill time" until everyone arrived. We noticed something fascinating begin to happen. People got to know each other better and made more connections during the games than they did during the actual speed dating rounds! We expect a total of about 25 people to attend each event.

Yes, In fact we never use repeat questions and we always change up the games so feel free to sign up with as many of our upcoming events as you'd like and meet more people!

HOW DO I JOIN THE EVENT?
After you sign up on to Eventbrite we will send you a Zoom link with an invitation to join the event. We'll email you that link by the day of the event. If for some reason you don't see an email from us by the event date, make sure to check your spam folder in case it ended up there by accident.

WHAT DO I NEED TO ATTEND?
All you need is your computer or your smart phone or tablet (Computer or tablet is recommended over a phone)

IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?
If you need to cancel, please email us and we can transfer you to a future event. However we do not offer transfers if you cancel on the day of the event or don't show up.
